Baja California Tree Frogs

April 14, 2019

This has been a really good season for Baja Tree Frogs in the GNG.  We have had the on and off for years, but with the abundant rain this year the have been plentiful.  A stream runs through the canyon below creating good habitat for California’s “chorus” frogs. During wet periods, they can travel long distances overland and we find them in our water features.  Breeding took place in the garden this season, so we are hoping they now become a permanent resident.
