Susan and Dan Gottlieb and their unique garden are the subject of the acclaimed book, The Gottlieb Native Garden: A California Love Story. Writer Mallory Smith captures the story of Susan’s life and her passion for native gardens and biodiversity. Featuring over 100 photographs taken by Susan, the book showcases the beauty of the garden, which is both a Xerces Society-designated Pollinator Habitat and an official National Wildlife Federation Certified Backyard Wildlife Habitat.
More than 3,500 copies of the book have been donated to environmental nonprofits in order to raise money and awareness for conservation issues.
