The Gottlieb Native Garden celebrates the backyard garden of G2 Gallery owners Susan and Dan Gottlieb, and Susan’s new book: The Gottlieb Native Garden: A California Love Story. Susan and Dan’s photos reveal an urban oasis in Beverly Hills, which is a Xerces Society-designated Pollinator Habitat and an official National Wildlife Federation Certified Backyard Wildlife Habitat. The exhibit underscores the need to incorporate California native and drought-tolerant plants to conserve water and to garden for wildlife, while the book documents the evolution of Susan’s garden, from an ivy-covered hillside to an environmental laboratory. The New York Times covered Susan and her yard in 2008 before it was fully mature.
